Open Flight World

Put a flight simulator on your website

Your visitors fly the Cessna 172 over Hong Kong in photorealistic 3D, right on your page, with nothing to install. It is free, and it takes one line of code.

The code

  1. Copy the code below.
  2. Paste it into your page where you want the simulator (in WordPress, a «Custom HTML» block).
  3. Publish. Your visitors fly from your page, and the link under it tells them where it comes from.
<iframe src="https://openflightworld.com/fly/?embed=1" title="Free flight simulator by Open Flight World" style="width:100%;aspect-ratio:16/9;border:0;border-radius:8px" allow="fullscreen; gamepad; autoplay" allowfullscreen loading="lazy"></iframe>

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. The simulator in your page is the free one: the Cessna 172 at Hong Kong International, in photorealistic 3D, with no account, no ads and no time limit.

What if a visitor wants more?

The mark in the corner and the link under the simulator open Open Flight World in a new tab, where the other aircraft, the airports and All Access are. Nothing is sold inside your page.

Does it slow my page down?

The simulator loads only in its frame, after your page, with loading="lazy": if the visitor never scrolls to it, it never loads. It flies best on a computer.

Can I change its size?

Yes. The code gives it the full width of your column at 16:9; change aspect-ratio or give it a height of your own. Keep the allow attribute: it lets the visitor use full screen and a gamepad.

Does it collect anything about my visitors?

No cookies and no personal data: inside your page the simulator counts only that it was opened, and from which site.
